October 12, 2013, Saturday. The Soldier Eats: Food in the Spanish Presidio, 1780. In this joint exhibit with the Arizona Historical Society, the Presidio will present an exhibit featuring the foods and supply issues in Spanish Colonial Tucson. The exhibit will run through April, 2014. The exhibit picks up in April at Fort Lowell, where the Arizona Historical Society will present The Soldier Eats: Food at Ft. Lowell A.T., 1880.
November 9 & 10, 2013, Saturday & Sunday, 10am to 4pm. Fall Blacksmithing Conference. The Presidio hosts the Arizona Artist Blacksmith Association annual demo and classes on traditional/historical blacksmithing at the the Presidio. Details TBD.
